Stargate fanart - Anubis Headgear and Eye of Ra

As part of my practising with colouring in with alcohol based pens (The one's used being from Stationery Island).
I remember my drawing being heavily influenced when the Stargate motion picture originally came out.
Now because of a commission I'm working on I was looking up "Space Egyptians" as a theme and became inspired yet again to draw something.
I don't normally do fanart, but thought to myself what the hell. Plus people tend to respond more to things they recognise.
The Anubis headgear drawing was based on an easily found online photo of the prop. Same goes for the Eye of Ra medallion.

Completed colour. I started practising with blending colours using alcohol based pens.

I usually forget to take a photo before erasing the starting pencil lines. This time I wanted a reminder of how a person would wear this.

I initially just wanted to find an image of the Eye of Ra from the film to copy and then just became more inspired to draw :)
